Capital’s sales staff are also its estimators. We will quote at your location as needed, allowing you a quicker response time.

Capital Welding’s 29 years of experience in the fabrication business provides a wide variety of services from small part prototypes to large part production.

Inventory

In addition to most standard sizes of A36 H.R.S. plate, bar, square and rectangular tubing, structural channel, beam and pipe, Capital Welding stocks a large supply of Type 304 Stainless Steel plate, 6061-T6 Aluminum plate, bar and tubing, 1045 plate, 1060 plate, and “free machining” plate. Due to the large volume of material Capital Welding uses each year, our suppliers will generally fill any of our “non-stock” requests within 24 hours.

Cutting

Capital has three CNC burning machines for cutting shapes in steel up to 12” thick. Two and three way burnout shapes are easily accomplished. Two of the burning machines are equipped with Plasma capabilities for cutting of aluminum to 2” thick and stainless steel to 1.25” thick.

Capital utilizes five horizontal and two vertical band saws for square and miter cuts to 17” wide by 13” high.

Build

Capital has thirteen build and weld stations utilizing over thirty power transformers. We have the capability of building fabrications from 1 pound to 28,000 pounds, up to 10 feet wide by 20 feet long. Eight stations are equipped for aluminum work, with four of these having liquid cooled aluminum MIG welding machines to accommodate even the largest aluminum Fabrications.
